Screening for Harmful Alcohol Use - The How and the Why

This webinar will discuss ways in which healthcare professionals can screen their patients for alcohol use disorder. At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to recognize the importance of screening for risky alcohol use; describe current recommendations for screening adults, adolescents, and pregnant individuals; list several widely used tools to identify risky alcohol use; and discuss challenges to incorporating screening and brief intervention into everyday practice.
